Description

Rare unboxed Decca label very 1st UK Stereo Pressing of this classic Rolling Stones album from 1968 Beggars Banquet with 1/1 Mothers and 1K/1K Matrices........earliest pressing with no credit for Rev Wilkins as writer for Prodigal Son on the record label and with JT tax codes in runouts....

The vinyl is in nice condition with light hairlines/scuffs ...just a little background noise on run ins and between tracks .... plays superbly all the way through with no sticks, skips or jumps apart from one needle stick near start of side one track four.......terrific clear and powerful sound from this high quality very 1st UK pressing.....Visual G.....Audio VG+.........sounds great..

The original and rare laminated Garrod & Lofthouse International Ltd gatefold sleeve is in lovely condition with light wear/scuffing to corners and opening ...40mm piece old tape at front opening edge.....spine and edges lovely....spine fully legible.....lovely inside gatefold with a couple of small surface tears of which the largest is appx 10x20mm only .....no writing anywhere......decent whiteness and nice overall condition....VG

Blue Unboxed Decca Stereo SKL 4955 labels in great condition with XZAL-8476-1K and XZAL-8477-1K Matrices, 1/1 Mothers and UH/CC Stampers and rarest JT tax code in both runouts....rare very 1st UK Pressing.....in lovely overall condition..
