Description
You are bidding on a 12” vinyl LP of The Rolling Stones album - Beggars Banquet. Surely one of The Stones' finest moments. I am aware these are collectable albums and this one plays really well. For full details please read on.
This is from my own personal collection. It’s time to make some space so sadly I am selling my vinyl collection. Please check out my other items for sale and there are many more to follow, so keep checking back.

I am not a record dealer and I am not an expert at grading records. I will give as much information as possible to assist in identifying particular albums and an honest opinion as to condition.
For the vinyl collectors looking in, the following information is available:
Label: Decca. Boxed logo. Blue label. Silver text.
Year: 1968
Catalogue No: SKL 4955 (also shows in smaller print on label XZAL 8476 on side one and XZAL 8477 on side 2)
Label states Made in England
Additional Matrix number information: XZAL-8476-3K and AZAL-8477-3K
I don't know which pressing this would be. Hopefully I have supplied enough info. for collectors.
Stereo.
Condition:
Record: Both labels clean. Some minor spindle marks. No tears. The vinyl looks very good. One light scuff and a couple of hairline surface marks. I have played the album all the way through and it plays really well with a good clean sound. No jumps, no skips, no sticking. I didn't hear any untoward surface noise. I only heard one light click (near start of Salt of the Earth). Apart from that I couldn't find anything wrong with it.
Cover: Gatefold. Glossy (laminated). I can find very little wrong with this cover. Front and back are very clean. One pin head size indentation on front. 2cm straight line indentation on back - not deep and narrower than a pen nib. All four corners are very good. No shelf wear top or bottom edges. Spine is very good with all spine text clear and readable. The back has a dark arc (ring wear) at top, but not damaged. A couple of very minor crease marks in laminate near spine. Inside gatefold is matt finish - no issues - all good.
Inner sleeve: White paper lined with polythene. Minor creases in corners. All intact. No splits.
Compared with how others grade LP’s on eBay I would say this is EXC. condition and I have little doubt some would add some +'s to that.
This isn’t a “mint” album, but it is an extremely respectable looking and playing album and would grace any record collection.

Describing the condition of items is very subjective.(one man’s treasure is another man’s junk etc). I will always try to be as honest as possible in describing the items. I would rather be honest from the outset, than end up with a disappointed winning bidder. I buy things on eBay as well and would expect the same honesty from others.

I understand “standard” first class mail is insured for items up to a value of £20.00. If you would prefer items insured for more, tracked, special delivery, recorded and “signed for” delivery, please contact me prior to paying.
If my starting bid is over £20.00 I will include a postage price that will cover for "Signed For" postage (this insures for up to £50) and if the starting bid or final bid is over £50 I will send via Special Delivery which I believe insures for up to £500.00.
All albums are dispatched in sturdy cardboard mailers with additional stiffeners, to ensure safe arrival. The cost of this packaging is included in the postage price.
