THE ROLLING STONES - 'BIG HITS (HIGH TIDE & GREEN GRASS)'
1966 UK STEREO PRESSING LP
This superb disc forms part of a unbeatable collection of top condition Rolling Stones UK 1st pressings which I have the pleasure to list this week. Please take a look at my shop to view the complete collection, including a 1st pressing MONO copy of this LP.
This barely played UK STEREO pressing dates from 1968 and is on the unboxed green & silver Decca label: TXS.1
Housed in a lavish outer laminated 'Robert Stace' printed gatefold cover with the 12" x 12" booklet stapled inside.
The rear panel has the mono/stereo indicator hole & the spine shows stereo AND mono catalogue numbers.
Complete with its original blue & white stereo indicator inner-sleeve.
Matrices: XZAL-7503-3W & XZAL-7504-3W
Stamper codes: 1/UU & 1/UM
A 1968 'JT' purchase tax code is present in both run-outs.

A superb bright & unworn pair with just a small handful of faint spindle marks around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Immaculate, unmarked & 'as new' playing surfaces with retain all of their deep-gloss shines with no traces of surface wear in strong or halogen light. This pristine copy lies 100% flat when playing, with no dishing or warping.
Play: NEAR MINT
This superb sounding copy has recieved just a handful of careful plays on top-quality equipment and my single careful play-check confirmed the sound quality to be 'as new' throughout'. There are no audible faults or wear on or between any of these magnificent tracks.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A very fine example of this lavish cover which bears a clean & unworn front leaf where the only blemish is a small bubble of laminate lift towards the spine. All edges are sharp & unworn and apart from a small area of laminate lift on the lower left corner, all are unworn. Inside, the booklet is fully intact with just a few light wrinkles where the pages have been turned and a little stress around the upper staple. However, it is fully attached to the spine and there are no major creases or wear. All seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean, square and unworn.

Clean & bright with just some faint storage creasing in one corners but certainly no writing, splits or tears.
