Rolling Stones, Double Deluxe, JAPAN TWO LP, LONDON EX+
Rolling Stones, Double Deluxe.
1970 Japanese pressed London Records stereo double LP set housed in gatefold sleeve, SL 165/6.
Includes lyric booklet to inner of gatefold, but no other inserts or obi.
Blue and silver labels replicate those used on early UK Decca "wide band" LPs.
Note that dark marks/blemishes visible to vinyl surfaces in photos are shadows/reflections. Photos were taken outdoors for more accurate colouration.
Vinyl in very clean condition. First LP has just a couple of spider trace marks at centre spindle areas, and surfaces are very bright and glossy still, with just a very few of the lightest of barely visible superficial paper hairline scuffs. Second LP is generally very clean, with a few more spider trace marks at centre spindle areas, but still very few. Surfaces are again clean, although side three has three fairly long scuff marks. These are all superficial however, and playback is bright and clean throughout entire set, and free of any background noise, ticks or clicks.
Labels are clean and undefaced all sides.
One inner sleeve is clear poly, the other looks to be a replacement poly lined die-cut paper sleeve.
Gatefold sleeve has a lyric booklet to inner, and this is in excellent and unmarked condition. Predominantly white left hand side of inner has a touch of ringwear rubbing darkening to top and left hand edge, but this is minimal and unobtrusive, and on the whole inner and booklet are in excellent condition throughout.
Externally sleeve is acceptably clean and bright. Front and rear are clean with just a couple of very tiny dinks and chips. No sticker residue or inscriptions. Spine has some chipping at edges, and there is some wear and rubbing to tips of sleeve, but overall spine is still in acceptable and unsplit condition and there are no seam splits.
