Description
This starts my last 6 weeks of selling for 2012. Some new things, but mostly items that didn't sell the 1st time around at lower prices. Up to 25% off the original listing price. If you see something you like grab it. I only relist once a year, so it might be quite awhile, if ever, before I list any of this stuff again. A haunted, gobble gobble, ho ho ho and auld lang syne to all!
The Rolling Stones Englands Newest Hit Makers FFRR Mono Lp. London LL 3375 - XARL 6291. There are several variations of the ffrr ear label. One is the 1st press Decca export issue. It has the ffrr ear label and says Made in England on the label. This is the rarer 1st press maroon ffrr ear label Made in U.S.A. label version which was pressed from the same plates as the Decca issue. This is one fantastic lp and you would have to look long and hard to find a better copy.
Visual grading - graded over a 300 watt halogen lamp
Vinyl - Ex Light hairlines and handling marks - Note to my Ebay friends. I thank you for all your interest and appreciate all the questions about this lps condition. This vinyl is a perfect example of why I try to give all my lps a visual AND (full) play grade. An lp can look (EX) VG+ and play M- , just as an lp can look M- and play (EX) VG+. Rest assured, I have a 100% no questions asked return policy. I even refund return postage.
Labels - Ex Spindle marks
Poster/photo - EX+
Cover - Ex+ This cover is in stunning condition. It looks new, only minor edge wear to bottom right hand corner and a slight ding upper right hand corner ( see photos) keep it from being M-. The spine is perfect. It is completely legible, no wear at all.
NO split seams, writing, rips, tears, ringwear, age spots, feathering along the opening or anything else other than whats mentioned.
Play grade Mint- ( Rega P3 with a rewired RB 300 tonearm and a Dynavector 10 X 5 cartridge ). Results may vary.
I ripped this lp to my hard drive and I prefer it to the official SACD or any other format I have ever heard. You hear things on this press that you have probably never heard before. Just amazing sound from an amazing press of this lp. The faintest of dead air lead in surface noise both sides. Nothing else but music. NO skips, jumps, tics, clicks, pops, surface noise or anything else other than mentioned.
Standard Goldmine/Record Collector grading.
