Description
Rolling Stones ~ Exile On Main Street NM/NM UK 1st issue with Postcards ~
Here is a genuine near mint 1st Uk pressing of the Rolling Stones 1972 masterpiece Exile On Main Street. This item is in exceptional condition and is complete with original 'slipcase' style gatefold sleeve, printed inner sleeves for the vinyl and the 12 postcards, still joined together.
On the run off of the vinyl sides the Matrices are
Side 1″COC A-2″ Side 2″COC1 B-1″ Side3 “COC C-1” Side4 “COC D-1”
Additionally in each vinyl run off there are hand etched ST-RS numbers, 'Rolling Stones Records' logo, the 'drumstick' logo and one tiny 'mother' stamp mark.
Vinyl: NM - All sides are beautifully pressed and sound great. Vinyl has shiny lustre and no visible marks on any side.
Labels: NM- light moderate spindle marks (indicating little play)
Postcards. Mint - no marks or bends
Inner Sleeves - Mint - no mark or bends
Gatefold Sleeve - Near Mint - So very close to mint - no bends, marks, or ring wear. There is the very slightest 'softening' on the corners of the sleeve.
This is a really beautiful copy of a now 50 year old copy in wonderful condition with the smallest of flaws.
I will pack this record set with the utmost care using robust materials to ensure it arrives in the condition in which it was sent. Vinyl will ship outside the gatefold sleeve and for the sleeve itself I will put padding material in the 'slipcase' where the records are held to avoid any flattening.
I will post worldwide with the usual exceptions.
Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks for looking!
