THICK quality pressings! Heavy weight feel !Near perfect aural delivery! Beautiful audio !!! Virtually faultless tones! Full set of genuine post cards . First Issue picture inner sleeves made with thick card,later ones were flimsier and thinner in texture. Complete with the original ,plain white, die cut, patented inner sleeves with the coveted blue text. Double matrices on unmarked vinyls to confirm one of  the very earliest pressings of this remarkable vintage Stones release . First issue, boxed gatefold sleeve in excellent/- condition .

Considered to be possibly their best  album release .

Rolling Stones Records/ST-RS-72-2507/08/09/10 hand etched on vinyl run offs with double matrices. A1/B2/D2/C1 respectively

The above details confirm one of the earliest pressings of this magnificent Stones release!

Patented white inner sleeves with cut out central circles, made in England credits in blue text are the genuine originals of this first UK press and are in excellent/- condition .Just one inner sleeve displaying a couple of nicks on central edge. No seam splits . Beautifully maintained .

Album sleeve

Original first issue heavyweight sleeve with unlaminated boxed format . Shorewood Packaging manufacture. Spinal column -Solid and square - NOT flattened as is seen to be in many cases. Heavier feel than the later reissues which were made of lighter paper manufacture. Fantastic square and solid spine and  clearly shows title. Wear showing only on top and lower spinal edge . Very fragile card manufacture, with minimal edge wear . NO rips, nor tears on examination of internal flap , which is truly remarkable as vinyls are pulled out from a compartment on the inside of the gatefold. Hardly any discoloration on outer faces but some browning toward edges/spine caused by the ageing process  . Dyno tape fixed on front top right face otherwise not a lot to fault. Excellent/- condition .

Complete with rare post cards, 12 attached in concertina format, a complete MINT set. Reverse endorsed with “Rolling Stones Records” to confirm genuine first issue UK postcards. No surface damage to fronts and reverse faces are immaculate.  Becoming more and more difficult to track down these days in this pristine condition .

Labels

Beautiful two vinyl set with Rolling Stones labels in vg+/excellent condition bearing the red tongue logos. Excellent condition with a light spindle trace from all four labels . Very carefully played condition with no rips/tears or graffiti of any kind !

Picture inner sleeves have no rips, tears nor seam splits. Excellent+ with no discoloration observed. Later issues are much thinner and lighter but these inner sleeves are thick ,with a  heavyweight feel and are the genuine first issue picture inner sleeves only found with the first pressings from this album release.

Vinyls

Virtually unmarked from all four sides under ordinary light, save for one minor surface mark on one of the sides . Under closer examination against a stronger halogen, several surface marks are observed, but none appear to affect the aural delivery. Factory fresh feel and quite clean  !!! .  Very carefully handled. Vinyls are thick quality, vintage pressings with a staggering, mirror like sheen. Remarkable vintage album presentation and impossible to locate like this!

Audio

Top aural delivery ! Beautiful tones delivered with a mellow warmth and a definitive edge.  Channels are predominantly clear throughout. Doubt whether one can find much better than this. Excellent aural delivery with little to fault .

One of the better examples of this awesome Stones classic . Extremely difficult to locate in this sensational condition, complete with a full set of pristine postcards .
