Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and poly-lined rice paper inner sleeves.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This Double LP is a Promotional Copy that has never been played.
- These are First Pressings (Allentown) on thick vinyl with the silver on blue London label.
- The 'Promotional Copy Not For Sale' sticker is lower back left.
- The paper on board gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows slight storage wear.
- Includes an insert titled "211 reasons why The Rolling Stones is the world's greatest rock and roll band" with album covers and songs.
- The two picture sleeves have classic London catalogue photos on both sides. I have included soft poly-lined rice paper inner sleeves
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from the London Records rep in his record store in 1971. It has been in storage for 47 years.
