Greetings my friends,
Up for sale is a very coveted and sought after Rolling Stones 45RPM/7" Single on London Records "It's All Over Now" with original picture sleeve in nice shape included.
A classic Stones tune from the early era. The record is a salient VG+. As seen in photos, it displays luster and life. Under fine light, I see an observable amount of light scratches and thus I grade it at VG+. A nice copy for a record of this age and for a collection. Playback is terrific without defects of any kind- no skips, no repeats, clear sound with no distortion. Exactly how this record was meant to be heard.
The picture sleeve is in VG+ condition. No splitting or tears, some light but visible ring wear at center of graphic. Closer to top, some light creasing. Towards top right, two light 1cm spots (should be visible in photos). Picture sleeve could come close to perfect if cautiously laid on a flat surface and covered with sturdy safe books to flatten. Would near perfect the sleeve outside of light ring wear and two spots towards top right. A nice example.
That being said, a truly rare picture sleeve in quite clean and admirable condition. Would be beautiful to display and appreciate. Awesome pic and tough to come by.
Fun fact: ever notice the guitar Keith Richards is playing in the graphic? An Epiphone Casino electric guitar. Aside from how cool the graphic is, this fact is amusing. The Casino was seen at the time as the quintessential Beatles axe, however, Keith infamously but less famously ALSO used the same guitar on many of The Stones' early recordings and performances. An underrated Stones fact.
