Description
Hello and welcome to my auction. Over the next few weeks I will be selling off the rest of my vinyl records from my own collection. I will list the records with as much accuracy and honesty as I would like to see when I am buying. I will post all records fully insured and as quickly as I can in heavy set record mailers with two spacers and the vinyl in a spare poly-lined inner. In short, it will be bomb proof! All my records have been kept in thick plastic wallets, stored upright at all times and played minimally on high grade equipment. In short, I love vinyl as much as you and can expect only the best service. Well that’s the mission statement over with, on to the record at hand...

Here we have a genuine US 1st pressing of the of iconic Stones record It’s Only Rock n Roll!
This US pressing comes with a hard card outer sleeve with a printed picture inner sleeve.
As with only 1st pressings, ROLLING STONES RECORDS is hand etched into the dead wax!
The vinyl is in near MINT condition and you would be hard pressed to find better!

Outer Sleeve Condition
The first press hard outer sleeve is in remarkable condition for its age. The spine is perfectly straight, fully readable with no wear at all. All the edges are straight with no seam splits at all and only very mild storage wear to the corners. There is some initial writing on the rear sleeve (see pics) and mild ringwear to the front that takes this from a mint record to V-good! The colours are as vibrant as they were on release and the inside of the gatefold looks equally as new. You would be hard pressed to find a better first press sleeve! A Stunner!

The first press printed inner sleeve is as new with no signs of age what so ever!

The record looks unplayed at first sight and only under a halogen bulb can we see only one ghost hairline!

Vinyl Label Condition
The first press yellow labels are in perfect condition with no tears, stains or writing at all. Under a strong bulb not even one spindle can be seen!

This is where the record shines! When this is played through some well maintained valves there is no greater joy to the ear. It simply jumps off the record with such immediacy. The record plays beautifully with no pops or crackle even on the quiet parts. It is a loud and crystal clear playback from start to finish. There is no distortion in the louder parts with a clear definition between all the different elements of the band. Final Upgrade Audio!
