Description
The Rolling Stones – Let It Bleed – Decca Records LK 5025 (mono); rare stickered peep-hole Upton Printing sleeve, poster and custom inner.
Sleeve:
EX(-), a few very light handling creases around the edges. Spine is firm and strong but does have some weakening in the middle where the disc was in contact – as well as on the bottom edge. Corners and edges strong and square. The all-important sticker is in great shape, no trace of damage or attempted removal. Colors are rich and unfaded.
Side 1:
XARL 9363P-2A
Label: EX+, very clean and undamaged.
Visual: EX, unmarked without any wear, bar two fingernail type drag marks. Other than this, there is no other wear or sign of handling. The deep gloss confirms the very infrequent play this copy has seen.
Audio: EX, as pressed perfect audio except for one surface sound present at the very beginning of “Live With Me”. This is caused by one of the light (not deep) surface scratches mentioned above. All other audio on this side, even between tracks, grades a solid NM.
Side 2:
XARL 9364P-1A
Label: EX+, very clean and undamaged.
Visual: NM-, unmarked, no wear, deep gloss.
Audio: NM, perfect sound with no trace of noise.
Original, correct custom inner in EX+ condition, crisp and un-split with no tears. The London Bach Choir credit has been censored. Poster is EX, with slight signs of handling but no holes or tape marks.
Play graded, in its entirety, on a properly set-up Rega deck with Shure cartridge/stylus for greatest fidelity and preservation of this rare disc.
