Description
On offer here from my rare record collection is The Rolling Stones 'Let It Bleed' the 1969 DECCA BOXED STEREO original UK pressing. THIS ALBUM IS FANTASTIC AND CONSIDERED BY MANY AS THE ROLLING STONES FINEST WORK! I have test played it before listing and it plays at grade of excellent with the bass, depth, warmth and clarity you can only get from a DECCA UK vinyl! There are no jumps or sticks and it plays through with no major problem. Just a few seconds of groove dust crackle to be heard on the whole album. This will go the more it is played or if it is cleaned. It is 46 years old so that is excellent for an album stored for an age.
It comes with a VK poster, the solid stickered outer cover with its mono/stereo peep hole in the back AND it comes with the original blue stereo inner identifying the London Bach Choir credit!!!! This was later removed by Decca. The inner is slightly creased and has a little ink stain.
In grading the album, I can say that the vinyl/wax on both sides is in excellent condition with just one fine very light line on one side from where the vinyl has been removed from the inner sleeve and returned. ! Most of these 60s Stones LPs are as you expect usually found WITH lots of SCRATCHES. This one is NOT one of those. THE WHOLE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!The record labels are in top condition with NO writing, NO wear, and just a few spindle lines.
The POSTER is in STUNNING condition with NO rips, NO tears, NO wear, NO stains and NO pinholes! The poster has clearly NEVER been out of the cover!!!! The STICKERED Cover advertising the free VK poster is in a strong condition!!!!
