A very nice complete copy; plays with very little bg noise - a really nice set and a great listen
The outer sleeve, printed in England / Clarifoil laminated, complete with peep-hole is in excellent shape. Very clean, very limited marks and creasing; superb , pinched, readable spine. A really nicer example
The original red, MONO, inner sleeve , with London Bach Choir credit , as per very first releases, is also in great shape. A little creasing on the corners from storage. Very clean and nicely intact, no rips - excellent.
The RARELY THERE ORIGINAL POSTER! - is also excellent! No blu-tac, tape, sticky marks - never been hung. Just has a couple of 'folding creases' - nice to have as it is often missing and makes this set complete - lovely all round!
The labels look fantastic, no rips, pen marks or scratches; right at the centre there are some very light signs of past use if you look closely
The vinyl, feels really solid and ... visually; side one has a few very light surface hairlines, there are no deep marks I could detect and nothing that interferes with playing and the great sound, a little light crackle between tracks. side two - on the first track there appears to be a couple of scuff marks - hardly there though - the rest has only light signs of use - it still plays superbly. Just a little light crackle between tracks. On very close inspection I think there is a very, very slight warp - so slight it is near impossible to detect, and there is no impact on the playing.
The playback - is fantastic overall. If you listen hard some of the quieter sections have a bit of background crackle, and some quiet noise on Midnight Rambler as mentioned above, but it is very slight. Any marks visible have hardly any impact and it is a fantastic listen overall - NOBODY COULD BE DISAPPOINTED
