Labels
Open Decca label format in excellent condition. No hand writing. No lifting. No fading. No tears or rips. Only a light spindle trace.
Album cover
First issue stickered sleeve with single, glossy laminated front face. Complete with rare sticker normally removed at purchase and in excellent condition. Peephole on reverse to indicate stereo/mono recordin g. No rips or tears. A little , insignificant water marking on reverse face. Excellent - condition.
Inner original lyric sleeve with a little creasing and one seam split on lower edge. 2.5 cms . No other damage to report. Without blacked choir credits. Very good + condition.
Vinyl
Thickly pressed with a stunning sheen. Side 1 has some fairly insignificant and extremely light hairlines . Side 2 has one moderate surface scuff , clearly visible and has taken off sheen in that area(at start of last track). Good visual.Otherwise ultra clean.
NEAR MINT, crisp and ultra clean poster with this album.
Audio
Very good aural delivery. Scuff causes a 6-8 revs click at start of last track. Some static heard between the tracks, linking grooves and the quieter parts of the music, but the extra loud cut engineering allows the tones to rise above any surface disturbance. Very enjoyable delivery with tones conveyed with pinpoint accuracy , synonymous with these very first monotone pressings.
Should be able to pick up at a bargain price. Do not miss. One that every serious collector should own, normally far too expensive , so don’t miss this opportunity of winning one of the best Stones albums ever produced.
