Description
*Please note that I only post within the UK*
This copy of Let It Bleed has seen a lot of use over the years but still has some life left in it!
RECORD
There are scratches which cause clicks/pops in several places (e.g. the start of Gimme Shelter, rather annoyingly) but other parts play well, and from test-playing here it all plays through without sticking or skipping. Both labels are also clean, spindle marks aside. Grading-wise varies between VG- on the scratchier parts and VG, touching upon VG+ on the better sections.
SLEEVE
No poster or sticker unfortunately, and there is residue where a previous owner had stuck sellotape around the edges (except the spine), which was since removed some time prior to it coming into my possession, so there are marks left from that, and a few bumps here and there. On the plus side however, everything is still intact, there is no writing or other marking, no seam splits, and the spine is clean and fully readable.
INNER SLEEVE
The mono uncensored 'London Bach Choir' inner has seen better days - a bit of foxing on the Let It Bleed info side (otherwise okay), and a *lot* of creasing and repaired rips on the other, but at least it's present!
So there we have it - while it may not exactly win any awards for Most Desirable Copy of the Year (hence price, though unboxed mono pressings of this album always seem to be sought after whatever the condition) the record is certainly better than just a collection filler, and it's a fairly okay example of an unboxed mono. It might suffice as a stop-gap until you find an upgrade....
Worth noting also that when I was looking at prices of copies in similar condition on Discogs as a guide to pricing this one, even copies where the disc was only in G+ condition with the sleeve missing were listed for more than I've got this copy on for - so this is a chance to get one in better condition than that, for less!
