Description
This is a superb early example of the classic Stones album.
Released through Decca in 1969 (cat no LK 5025).
It is the sleeve that has the 'full color Rolling Stones poster included' sticker and the poster is still with the record!
The sleeve is in excellent condition. There is little wear along the opening edge, the corners and virtually no wear along the top and bottom seam.
The pinched spine is also solid and all text on the spine is near perfect.
Along the front sleeve there is laminate lift along the spine edge about 3/4 of its length.
The vinyl is excellent condition.
There are a few light marks and scratches but nothing major. The vinyl still has a fantastic shine to it.
Matrix nos and stampers are:
Side 1 - XZAL 9363 P 1W and stampers 1 and D followed by two small lines!
Side 2 - XZAL 9364 P 2W and stampers 2 D and C C.
JT stamper at the 12 o clock position on both sides.
Labels are in near mint condition.
Poster is in excellent condition. There are some creases and a 1 1/2 cm tear going into the 'r' of 'rolling'.
Inner sleeve is also in excellent condition, just slight creasing wear the edges of the record sits. No rips or tears.
