Let It Bleed
Impossibly scarce Let it Bleed MONO 1st UK pressing ,COMPLETE with the “impossible to locate” PROMO booklet, reputed to only have been issued with the VERY first 100-200 pressings ! Seriously rare item, NOT to be missed ! This has got to be THE earliest and the rarest 1st UK pressing with the ultra rare 1A/1A matrices. 95 % of all the mono 1st pressings do NOT have this matrix !!!ONLY a tiny few had the 1A/1A matrix and was changed soon after the first/second day of pressings, before the release date of this astronomical Stones release ! In addition to this, the previous owner added a second promo booklet to this delightful package which was issued at the time of The Stone Age album compilation. And to make this an extra special item for collectors,an exquisite Jagger pic in mint condition. A superb package for any Stones enthusiast!
I make my very best effort to be one of the best sellers on E Bay and all my records are sonically and visually assessed, as per the RRPG , UK standards guide and customer satisfaction is my ultimate goal, so please bid with confidence.

A “once in a lifetime” opportunity, to own the complete and earliest first pressing, of this astronomical STONES’ release with the ultra scarce PROMO booklet .Hardly ever seen now .You may never get another opportunity to own a genuine piece of 60’s/70’s music history. So please do not miss out !
The LIB promotional booklet is in very good/- condition, and has the LIB album design on front page. A six page exclusive which features awesome pics of The Stones and a full , comprehensive back catalogue of LP/EPs/and singles issued up to, and including the LIB album release. The booklet has even included the ultra rare, shadowed Aftermath album cover !! Just shows you how early this promo booklet was released. The booklet only accompanied a HANDFUL of the earliest first UK LIB pressings, as all the LPs featured in the booklet, all have mono and stereo catalogue numbers, and of course mono was discontinued in 1970 .Virtually impossible to locate now and a magnificent collectors’ item. The promo booklet has a Mint value £500 alone without the album! The booklet is an amazing find. This booklet has general browning discoloration, relative to the ageing process and has general handling impressions. Apart from two corner bends on back page, one of which is almost disengaged from its page ,it is in good condition . Please see pics for further details. No rips. No major tears. There are a few nicks on extreme lateral edges of the front/rear pages. Staples are firmly attached, and has a solid feel , -an amazing piece of Rock N Roll history-a scarce exhibit indeed and impossible to locate ! The second promo booklet which is a replica to this except for front and last pages which show a slightly different format. The Stone Age booklet is in excellent condition. The Jagger photo is in nr mint condition . Phenomenal exhibits!
These mono releases are becoming rarer by the day and to locate one in this COMPLETE condition is remarkable. This particular album was released around the time of the stereo initiation, the launch of a new sound dimension. Obviously, the public’s demand for the stereo format hit the roof, so the mono copies were phased out fairly quickly, as they produced low public demand at the time. Some were even scrapped as many did not sell, and production ceased very rapidly , hence the apparent rarity of this beautiful vinyl. Rest assured that, the ones that were bought, were played and played into submission, taken to wild parties, used and abused big time, with the result of most copies being found with massive groove wear and surface damage .This album presentation is a truly remarkable example, of one of the Rolling Stones best album releases.
ALBUM DETAILS:
LK 5025 date of release 1969
Labels
RED Decca, unboxed ,1st issue format .At least EXCELLENT condition with no rips, nor tears. Several spindle lines visible ,but no surface damage at all !!! No graffiti . No fading of any kind. All text clearly legible . Beautiful examples . No scuffs, nor any other damage visible. Appear superb against the highly polished , jet black vinyl surfaces. Silver text still maintains its metallic finish, and projects magnificently against the deep blood-red, scarlet coloration. Ffrr ear logos absolutely perfect and are beautiful examples of the first issue!!! NO mottling, NO peeling, NO lifting. NO crusting! NO hand writing of any kind.
Inner red sleeve
-THE original ,with no blacked out choir credits. THE first issue red ,MONO, inner, track listing sleeve !!!! General light creasing visible, top edge very lightly worn . Only downside is a genuine late 1960’s coffee stain, on one side. Therefore very good+ as there are no other faults to mention.
Poster EXCELLENT
The Victor Kahn 1st issue original !!!! Most are found missing from this monumental classic, so we are blessed to find it still present . A genuine original , 1st issue poster. It is in stunning condition with folds crisp and undamaged. Not displayed on a wall and minimal handling. Some light creasing visible on one of its quarters, but hardly noticeable !Beautiful example !
Album sleeve
Excellent- condition
1st issue, Upton Printing text on lower right edge of reverse face . Made in England. Peep hole on reverse and patent applications text. Reverse face has only light discoloration/staining visible, which is very unusual to find after 40+ years ! Pinched spine clearly shows title and is in at least excellent condition. The thick lamination is sound, with no lifting on front face and only 2-3 laminate splits along the spinal edge. The thick, laminate coat , still reflects a distinctive gloss. Hardly any ring wear visible. There appears to be a slight corner crease on top left front face. Superb example of the earliest album sleeve . Corners are beginning to show some light buffeting only! A wonderful collectors’ item .
The very first album cover comes complete with THE original first issue sticker, which is in excellent condition. All contours are sound . This sleeve increases in value and its collectability, if the sticker is still on the front face, as believe it or not, many sleeves do no longer have this ultra rarity, as they were always being removed (because of the missing poster)!! So scarce now to find a genuine, first issue album sleeve , in this complete condition .
Vinyl
Highly polished, with a mirror like sheen .Spectacular original after 43 years and a truly, remarkable, vintage classic. Engineered, to the highest form of British craftsmanship. Stunning jet black , mirror like surfaces and has no nasty deep scratches or scuffs to spoil the visual chemistry of this astronomical Stones classic. There are several light scratches visible on both sides of the vinyl, but most of them disappear beneath its awesome glaze.
A phenomenal record for its age and is excellent- visual. Strict grading applies . See photos for further details.
(((Audio)))
Grading assessed as per the UK RRPG catalogue
A phenomenal, depth of sound from the monotone perspective, which is quite remarkable and the tones are conveyed with a pinpoint precision and a razor sharp edge!
No hops. No hisses. No sticks. No jumps. Most channels remain predominantly clear, with tones delivered with a warm, sharp punch and definitive edge. As with all these vintage records, a little low level background static is heard in few and far between places, during opening grooves ,between tracks and the quieter parts of the music, but does little to affect the music presentation. Tones are projected magnificently and give the listener an enjoyable experience. There is no distortion detected, and the minor 2-3 light scratches on either side, produce a few, very faint ticks which do little to affect the music presentation and are heard at a distance. I detected no major problems at all and grade the aural delivery at least VERY GOOD + and significantly better for most of play. Strict grading applies.
The most important feature of this audio is its concise delivery, each note delivered sharp and clear, with minimal distortion detected. This is very rare to find on a monotone recording, where the heavy styli of the sixties, bore into the grooves ,causing considerable sound distortion. I have laboured through plenty of vinyls, to locate that scarce clarity of delivery, not so much through the channels, but of the tones themselves. It is this feature that rates the true value of a vintage classic.
An extremely rare exhibit and of true investment quality in its complete format . Please do not miss this opportunity to possess a classic masterpiece .
