Description

You are bidding on what many collectors feel is the Rolling Stones definitive audiophile release -- the 11-LP Rolling Stones Mobile Fidelity (MFSL) Limited Edition box set, art book and MFSL GEO disc, including the envelope with the registration certificate No. 3343.

 

The box is near perfect; the brass clasp and hinges are still shiny, tight and new looking; and all the corners are very sharp and pointed.  The graphics are mint as well.

 

The records in this set are in mint condition and they appear NOT ever to have been played.  The inner covers are near-mint-to-mint. All records have the original rice sleeves and Mofi protective sliders in mint condition.

 

The art book has graphics from all the records and is in near-mint to mint condition as well.  The 3-D hologram page for Satanic Majesties on the booklet cover has a very slight warp to it due to time as all these holograms do. In the interest of full disclosure, I need to point out that a previous owner stamped his name, address, etc., on the inside of the covers, Mofi sliders, on the last page of the art book and also used an embossed stamp to put the same information on the rice sleeves; I guess he feared theft.  That is the only issue with any of the contents and does not detract from the set. 

 

Many collectors think this collection is getting harder to find each year, and I have not seem a set with a lower number on E-Bay in recent memory. 

 

Estimated parcel post cost for U.S. delivery is $22; priority mail is estimated at about $43.
