Description
The Rolling Stones: "The Rolling Stones No2". This is an auction for two of these original vinyl LP albums. The first is an original Mono 1st pressing in excellant ++ condition. The second is the second pressing with the Boxed Decca labels in Mono and in excellant +++ condition overall.
1) On Decca number LK 4661 this is an original 1 st pressing. itis also the original with "The Blind man" bit in the critique on the back of the album. This was later withdrawn due to its very distastful suggestion that you should rob and beat a bind up for the money to buy this album. Obviously meant with irony.The vinyl and the original 1st pressing labels are in excellant condition with only a little evidence of having been played. Has the original inner sleeve and the outer sleeve is in a lovely condition. only one or two very light creases and should be described as excellant ++ condition.
2) The second album is the same but this is the 2nd pressing of this classic album. The outer sleeve has the mention of the blind man removed and the red mono Decca labels are now boxed decca labels. The vinyl and the labels are in mint condition. it has the original Decca inner sleeve in mint condition. The outer sleeve is in nearly mint condition. i can see two light creases and therefore should be described as excellant ++ +condition . A fantastic copy of this classic original 1960's album.(I use the descriptions used in Record Collector in the rare record price Guide.)
