DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION

I have done a lot of research on this record and I believe that it is a Monarch Pressing, 1966, re-issue. This would mean it was issued one year after the initial 1965 release. Since I can't look at the labels and trailout, without opening the record. I have only the cover to go by. It is made of brown cardboard. All of the other releases of this record have text across the bottom of the back cover that reads, on the 1965 version: PLAY THIS RECORD ONLY ON STEREOPHONIC EQUIPMENT. There is no text across the bottom of the copy I'm selling, which is consistent with the 1966 stereo pressing. The subsequent re-issues had text across the bottom that read: ELECTRONICALLY RE-PROCESSED FOR STEREO FROM A PERFORMANCE ORIGINALLY RECORDED MONAURALLY. This copy has ELECTRONICALLY REPROCESSED next to the catalog number and the word STEREO in the upper left corner . I cannot guarantee that this is a 1966 copy, but the evidence is very strong. The cover and shrink wrap are in great shape. There is some minor rounding of the corners, and some slight wrinkling from the pressure of the shrink wrap. there are 4 places where the shrink wrap has frayed along the edges. They are 1/4 to 1 inch long. No damage has occurred to the cover in these spots. In short, it is in remarkably good condition for a 56 year old record.
