Rolling Stones OZ Reissue LP Their satanic majesties request EX Decca TXS103


OZ Reissue LP released in the 1970's on Decca Records. Cat: TXS103. Comes in gatefold cover with Lenticular 3D image.
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward to listing them over the next few months. All records have been professionally cleaned and play tested and graded conservatively.

Without a doubt, no Rolling Stones album and, indeed, very few rock albums from any era split critical opinion as much as the Rolling Stones' psychedelic outing. Many dismiss the record as sub-Sgt. Pepper posturing; others confess, if only in private, to a fascination with the album's inventive arrangements, which incorporated some African rhythms, Mellotrons, and full orchestration. What's clear is that never before or after did the Stones take so many chances in the studio.

  There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Gloss gatefold, Lenticular cover has a few light marks and is in Excellent condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
