Description

An original '68 copy on UK unboxed Decca label [a couple of years after 1st release]. Matrix 1W/1W - incidentally same as 1st cut. Stampers 1BB/1BK - very nice audio provenance. The heavy-set vinyl come housed in an original Robert Stace stereo cover. We also have a blue and white Decca inner from the late sixties.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In marvellous condition and has only seen light use. A couple of light bag-rash markings per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetwens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A beautiful player - clean as a whistle. Given the vintage - highly impressive. Clean into the fades and quieter moments. Hardly anything to pick fault with. Excellent acoustics. Lovin' it!
Cover (Ex-) In super condition and many of these R Stace covers usually surface looking in quite poor condition. Lovely shiny and flat front cover. There's no laminate lift and just a couple of minor laminate creases. The rear seems to have practically avoided the ageing process [believe the photos!]. Just one blemish/grubby patch in extreme bottom right corner. Minimal edge wear and sharp openings. Spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Hardly any ageing. Bag present. No splits.
