We have up for auction a 1965 First Pressing Mono UK Export copy of The Rolling Stones: Out of Our Heads on the Red London Record Label LL.3429.  This variation is one of the few early Rolling Stones LPs that was made in the UK and then exported to the US for distribution.  The distinct Boxed "London" logo which is accompanied by the "FFrr" and Ear designation on the Red London label, as well as the top rim perimeter label print; "Made in England By The Decca Record Co LTD." denotes this LP as an export LP and the initial 1964 pressing of this title. 

This heavyweight slab of vinyl receives a Visual VG++ Goldmine Grade.  This copy has received less than 10 plays in its entire life and had one or two more hairlines as well as a two non-interfering nor distractable scruffs on Side 2 which robbed it of its true NM- grade.  The vinyl has its full gloss and sheen and is simply a beautiful example of mid-1960's preserved wax.  "Heads" is one of the most difficult LPs to find in this near pristine condition and is valued close to $250.00 in NM condition.  Only in the brightest of light can you even detect the tiny, wispy "hairlines" which were more a product of taking the LP in and out of its "London FFrr" bag than actual play.  This entire package we have up for auction, meaning the LP, its labels, the jacket, even the London Inner Bag are in excellent visual condition and one would be hard-pressed to find another "Out of Our Heads" in this condition.

Despite the presence of the few spindle lines on the stunning Red London Labels, the labels are a brilliant red with the silver print of the title, the boxed "London" with the coveted "FFrr" Ear being as clear and sharp as the day this LP was pressed.  We will allow our photos to speak for themselves in substantiating the grade of NM- for the labels.      

The Original London Polyethelene "FFrr" Inner Sleeve is included and grades as a VG++. 

This LP was playgraded and received a grade of VG++.  This LP played flawlessly and brillantly on my unforgiving Denon turntable, which usually jumps at the sight of an old Stones LP!  The punchy mono sound of this first very early pressing (see Matrix--it is a 1A on both sides of the vinyl) made my Polk speakers shake and bake as Mick Jagger sang and Keef and Brian played the sound that still makes this band the Greatest Rock 'N' Roll Group of all-time.  If I heard a total of 3 tiny crackles, that would be an overstatement.  Listening to this classic, rare, export made by Decca Records for London Records' distribution to the USA, one can conclude that no US pressing of this title could surpass the clarity and sheer sonic power that this pressing was blessed with.  The sound was loud, clear, and reflective of that MONO madness that these early 60s recordings are known for.  It was a pure joy to listen to The Stones on this pressing.  No crackling, no jumps, no skips, no pops, nothing.  You will absolutely love this LP! 

The Matrices are as follows;  Side 1: XARL 6791-1A and Side 2: XARL 6792-1A.  This LP also has Stampers and the British Tax Code of "KT" at 12:00 in the run-off section of the vinyl.  The Stampers are:  Side 1: 1/UU   Side 2: 1/KC

The jacket of most copies of "Out of Our Heads" are inudated with harsh ringwear, rips, tears, and writing.  Not so with this beauty of a cover which is extremely conservative in our Goldmine Grade of VG++.  This jacket has no seam splits, only the mildest signs of ringwear due to storage, no writing of any kind, and a glorious white reverse side.  This cover has only mild wear on the paper of the sturdy and intact spine as well as mild corner wear--all due to prolonged storage.  No worries, though, because the title of the LP and the name of the group are all quite legible on the spine print.  These early Mono London jackets were all notorious for inherent defects in their overall production, for finding a mid-1960s jacket in this shape is a near impossibility.  We are reluctantly starting this auction off at an extremely low price.  Good Luck!
