Description
This is a stunning version of the 1969 LP album "Let it Bleed" in glorious mono - first issue, LK.5025 without poster.
The vinyl is in Near Mint condition, no scratches and has no crackle at all, even between tracks! It is a real joy to listen to!
I have compared this mono version to the latest stereo CD version and this has much more presence and life to it - you really feel as if you're in the studio with the Stones, much more intimate.
At both ends, bass and treble, there is more resonance than in the more modern version.
I bought this new in 1969 - it has always been stored in a polythene sleeve, played on excellent equipment where the needle is constantly checked for wear and it has never been left on the turntable to gather dust. This is why it is still very much in the same condition as when I bought it!
While the inner sleeve has never been used (the creasing was there when I bought it), it does have some marks on one side, a fluorescent pen stain prevents this from being mint and the cover shows wear too - I would give the inner sleeve and cover VG+ to EX - but see the photos above for yourself - there are no markings nor writing on the cover.
