Rolling Stones "Some Girls" LP, COC 39108 1978, never opened
Die-cut cover with peek-a-boo sleeve printed with original recalled art.
This is my “Some Girls” album - by the Rolling Stones - published in 1978. Unopened, original die cut cover with printed sleeve inside, with the bright colored tint blocks and red title that are the most desired versions. Has the original shrink wrap with the ‘…Miss You” decal, plus the retail store’s price decal. Stored flat with weight since 1978 by me in anticipation of this auction.
Atlantic Records was forced to recall this version because of copyright issues with the estates of Lucille Ball, Jane Mansfield and Brigitte Bardow, who's faces were printed on the paper sleeve along with the members of the band. Cruise this category on eBay and see all the ones with the blank holes where the images were removed for reprint.
This album is like new and who knows what's inside?
