Description
The Rolling Stones - Some Girls 1978 Vinyl LP CUN 39108.
Original first edition pressing* with DIE CUT SLEEVE in EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION.
Grading is always subjective especially for a record that is over 40 years old but I will do my best to give you as accurate a description that I can. From my own personal collection bought new and as a Stones fan cared for ever since. Record is bright and shiny without marks or scratches. On playing Side one it goes straight into the first track without pause and then for the rest of the side sounds superb (Near Mint). Side 2 there is some surface noise on the lead into the first track then, like the first side, the rest of the side sounds superb (Near Mint Again). The cover is near mint.
Overall using Record Collectors Grading I have given the record a very strong excellent.
The red P on the label (see pic) signifies it has been through a disk cleaning process called PERMOSTAT to eliminate or reduce static. It was the sort of things audiophiles did in the 80s to try and get the best sound. All pics are of the actual record.
*Uncensored inner sleeve version (with uncensored celebrities faces).
Cover with die-cut peep-holes, Yellowish-Bluish-Reddish-Greenish (pale colours) colour bands and 'Some Girls' title in red.
'CUN 39108' on the labels and inner sleeve, 'CUN 39108' and a boxed '0C 064-61 016*' on the top right corner of the back cover.
