This auction is for a special edition of the vinyl 33 1/3 rpm Long Playing 12-inch record Sticky Fingers by the Rolling Stones.  This edition is from the original master recording and was recorded by the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab and was specially plated and pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl at half speed by the Victor Company of Japan, MFSL 1-060.  The vinyl was pressed in Japan and the cover was manufactured in the USA.   I believe that the sleeve is the specially made static-and-dust-free plastic sleeve which is mentioned on the back of the cover.  This sleeve does not have the tongue image as do some of the other eBay listings.  

I have played this album no more than four times with a 1.5-gram arm and the record, cover, and sleeve are in excellent condition.  Because I heard a few pops in the quiet sections of Side B just now, I am grading the vinyl at VG+ and the cover and sleeve at NM:  VG+/NM/NM.  A corner of the cover has been impacted so there is a quarter-inch crease and some light crinkles there; but this album has always been kept in a clear plastic album cover bag so the crisp and clean cover as a whole is closer to NM than to VG+, the next grade down in the grading system I use.

GRADING

I graded this album using the Industry Standard Vinyl Record Grading System developed by Goldmine Records which I obtained from the internet.  Excellent (EX) is not a grade in this system and I don’t like using the Grade VG++, so if an item is borderline pristine, I’ll grade it NM rather than VG+.  Borderline pristine = Near Mint, literally.  An example would be two quiet pops on a record side or a slight dulling of cover gloss.  If pops are heard in most of the song breaks or if cover gloss has worsened to color loss from repeated shelving, it must be graded VG+.  Please look up this grading system if you are unfamiliar with record grading.
