Description

**Item Description:**
Up for sale is a fascinating and highly collectible original 1971/1972 European hybrid factory pressing of The Rolling Stones' masterpiece, "Sticky Fingers". This specific variation features an audiophile-preferred German-pressed vinyl housed inside its original UK-manufactured packaging, exactly as distributed across the UK and Europe in late 1971 to meet high demand.

The vinyl was pressed using the legendary T.M.L. (The Mastering Lab) master lacquers cut by Doug Sax in California, offering the incredible, punchy analog sound quality that collectors highly seek out.

**Identifiers & Pressing Details:**
• Matrix / Runout (Side 1 Stamped): COC-59100-A [Hand-etched: ROLLING STONES RECORDS]
• Matrix / Runout (Side 2 Stamped): COC-59100-B3 [Hand-etched: ROLLING STONES RECORDS]
• Center Labels: Promotone N.V. text at 9 o'clock position, Catalog # COC 59100
• Insert: Original UK double-sided tongue insert with catalog number CUN 59100 L (Distributed by EMI Records Ltd.)
• Inner Sleeve: Original UK blue-text patent-pending care sleeve stamped "MADE IN ENGLAND"
• Outer Sleeve: Original Andy Warhol zipper cover featuring the small, unbranded plain brass zipper pull tab.

---

**Condition Report:**

• Vinyl Condition: Very Good (VG / VG+)
The vinyl retains a beautiful, deep glossy shine. Under direct light, there are some light surface dust particles and minor cosmetic hairline paper scuffs from handling over the decades. No deep or feelable scratches are present. It looks like it will play wonderfully with excellent analog fidelity.

• Outer Sleeve Condition: Good (G)
The cover shows its age but remains a historic piece. There is noticeable tearing and splitting along the cardboard at the top of the zipper mechanism and the belt line (a very common flaw with this fragile design), alongside general edge and corner wear. The brass zipper mechanism itself is completely intact and functional.

• Insert Sheet Condition: Very Good (VG)
The iconic double-sided tongue insert is fully intact with standard light aging/yellowing and minor handling creases, but no major rips, stains, or writing.

• Inner Sleeve Condition: Good (G)
The original UK paper inner sleeve is included. It shows some creasing, aging, and standard seam splits from the record resting inside over the years.

**Safe Shipping Promise:**
Because the metal zipper on this cover is notorious for denting vinyl when pressed on a shelf or during travel, the record will be safely removed from the jacket and placed in a separate protective sleeve for shipping. This prevents any transit damage to the cover art or the vinyl itself. It will be packed securely in a dedicated cardboard record mailer.
