Description

An original 1st press of Tattoo You on UK RS. Matrix A1/B2 - very 1st cut. Etching 'MAJ'. Nice solid vinyl for the period. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover. There's also the original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) Very well preserved and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Lovey quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A great player throughout. I'm struggling to pick out anything detrimental really. A coupe of minor crackles in a quiet spot in 'WA You', and one slightest tick. Clean signal and excellent reproduction. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) In great condition with very well preserved surfaces. The only thing I can spot is some excess black ink [pretty lowlevel] over on the right hand side. You kind of have to look relatively close to spot it so it is not that obvious. Minimal edge wear and firm openings. Someone's possibly tidied the edge up with sharpie in a couple of spots. But it is definitely very tidy. Text on the spine is all legible and looks smart. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and has clearly been looked after.
Inner (Vg+) One side had come apart - tape repaired internally and hard to spot from the outside now. Slightest ageing at extremities.
