Here's a test pressing I was given some years back, from the "Still Life" album. Played it once to verify it was the Stones, heard a pretty good live recording, and have held it in my collection ever since (the early 80's). From the label information it looks like the 'Client', Atlantic Records, hired Pennsylvania company Specialty to press the vinyl for the US record release. The inner groove has the stamp 'Masterdisk' on it, so they would have been the company to turned the original master tape into a disc master.
Test pressings are interesting to fans because albums would sometimes be rejected at some point in the release process in order to make changes. I don't know stones minutiae well enough to say, but this test pressing may or may not be the final mixes/running order/disc mastering.
The disc is in an 80's paper/plastic inner sleeve which is in a period-appropriate white promo jacket. Great item and very rare!
