THE ROLLING STONES - 'THROUGH THE PAST DARKLY (Big Hits Vol.2)'
This scarce German pressing of their 1969 album was pressed for sale to U.S. service personnel serving in Germany.
It is on the red 'Royal Sound' stereo Decca label: SLK 16 625-P Ex
Matrix numbers: X-ZAL-90X67-IV & X-ZAL-90X68-I
'MANUFACTURED IN GERMANY' is also machine stamped into each run-out.
Vinyl weight: 143g
Housed in a fully laminated German printed cover, still with the original $1.50 price sticker on the front panel.

A clean & bright pair but with written initials on label 1 and a tiny pin-head of missing paper on 2.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight bearing just some harmless wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This high-quality pressing has received little play and the sound-quality throughout is very impressive. Apart from a touch of low-level vinyl background on the run-ins and between tracks, my single careful play-check detected no audible distractions or wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A clean, strong and unworn example which has clearly been carefully stored and looked after. Both front & rear panels retain an unscratched, high-gloss laminate with just a single tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkle visible on the front panel. there is a small bruise to the lower right corner but nothing of any significance to the other or indeed to either opening edge.
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is unworn and perfectly worded.
