THE ROLLING STONES - 'THE ROLLING STONES'

This immaculate MINT example of their debut UK 4-track EP is a 1st pressing dating from January 1964 release on the unboxed blue & silver Decca label: DFE 8560

Released both to capitalize on their first Top 20 hit "I Wanna Be Your Man" and to test the commercial appeal of the band before Decca would commit to letting them record an album.

The four tracks were recorded at two separate sessions in August and November 1963.

Matrix numbers: EF-2663-1K & EF-2664-1K

Stamper codes: 1/BH & 1/UA

Housed in an original front laminated, bi-flipback 'West Brothers' printed picture sleeve.

A perfect pair with no spindle marks or wear to either centre hole. There is even a sliver of the silver centre hole marks around the side 2 centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine 'factory-fresh' playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp. No need to upgrade this.

Sound Quality MINT

The disc shows no visual signs of play and the sound quality throughout my single careful play-check at volume was flawless.
