THE ROLLING STONES - 'THE ROLLING STONES'
1964 UK 2nd PRESSING LP
This superb disc forms part of a unbeatable collection of top condition Rolling Stones original UK pressed LPs which I have the pleasure to list this week. Please take a look at my shop to view the complete collection.
This first-class copy of thier 1964 debut album is '2nd pressing' on the 'deep-groove', unboxed red & silver Decca label: LK.4605
Side 2 includes the 4.06 min version of the song 'Tell Me'.
The disc is housed within a front laminated, bi-flipback cover and comes complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.
The track-listing on the rear panel lists the 'I Need You Baby' title.

Both are extremely clean & vibrant with a small collection of spindle marks and slight wear to each centre hole but no writing or other major faults.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep gloss shine and no significant surface marks or wear in strong daylight. Careful inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine and a handful of harmless wispy paper-type hairlines. Both sides lie of this great copy lie 100% flat when playing, with no dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This great sounding copy has received a minimal amount of careful play on good equipment and the sound throughout is clean & unworn. My single careful play check at volume revealed no clicks, pops, ticks or any other such audible distraction or wear on or between any of these explosive tracks.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A super example of this often and easily worn cover which retains an unscratched high-gloss front laminate displaying a few tiny edge wrinkles, but no 'thumbnails' or any other wear. There is some bruising to the two right corners and a heavier bump to the upper left, but both opening edges are clean, sharp & unworn. The rear panel is perfectly clean, white & totally unblemished with not a trace of handling or wear to any area and both flipbacks are intact & undamaged. Both seams are smooth & unstressed and apart from a small bump to the upper corner of the spine, it is clean, fully laminated & worded.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Very clean & white with just some light unavoidable handling wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
