Description

Here is something unusual. This is a flexi disc that was attached to a 1972 copy of the British rock magazine "New Musical Express" in May of 1972. It came with whatever number issues were produced for May, 1972 and did not appear anywhere else!
The "label" reads "M. Jagger with piano accompaniment introduces excerpts from their forthcoming double album- EXILE ON MAIN ST.: Rolling Stones
featuring:         All Down the Line.                       Release Date May 12th
      Tumbling Dice.                                When true
      Shine A Light.                                  Sound Quality
      Happy.                                             Will be Revealed

Would look great as part of any Rolling Stones 7" collection!

So, you hear Mick singing with a pumping piano an improvised tune about Exile on Main St. and then you hear excerpts of the tunes listed. Then Mick returns with more of his Main Street tune.
Surprisingly, the disc plays fine. I would grade it VG+/ VG++ on its own. The sound is clear.
The other side of the disc has intros to a new Curved Air LP and to a new Fanny LP, however this side was not pressed well.
So, here is a nice 52 year old truly rare Rolling Stones 7" Flexi Disc that introduces one of the best Stones LP's ever!

Shipping/Handing will be $5.99 Media Mail.
