Description

This is a very rare northern crossover soul 45 record by Ron Harrington. This is on the Hillside record label #837H-1013 from here in Columbus, Ohio. We are selling this scarce record for Ron himself. He had no idea his record was sought after and was pleasently surprised! Ron was born in 1943 here in Columbus and started singing at age 6 at talent shows at school. He started singing with groups in the 50's & 60's also playing the keyboard, writing and composing his own songs. At 30 he switched over to Gospel music and at this time he is still in the music business producing gospel music in his own studio. This record was played on WVKO here in 1970 when it was released. You can listen to an original and a remix of this great sound on YouTube under Ron Harrington on Hillside. This is one of those northern soul records that fell through the cracks but has been rediscovered and is sought after by soul collectors everywhere. Don't miss out on getting this rare single for your collection! The early photo of Ron is not for sale, but can be viewed with our listing. Condition of the record is mint and appears to be unplayed. There are no chips, cracks, tears, stickers or writing. Please see 3 photos! This will be sent insured for US shipping. This is a very nice & scarce 45 to add to your collection! Email with any questions! We except international bids & Paypal. Ohio winners must pay 6.75% sales tax. We send out items within 5 business days after cleared payment. Thanks and good luck! Colleen & Gus
