Description
Ronnie Scott Orchestra – 1956 four-track EP – Esquire E.P.85.
This is a decent example of a four-track EP by Ronnie Scot Orchestra that was recorded on 11th October 1955. It was released on the Esquire label in 1956 – E.P.85 – and is in around VG+ condition. Visually it is better than that and the playing surface is very shiny. But when played there is some faint background crackling. The laminated cover also grades as VG+. There are a couple of small creases but no rips or grazes etc.The back cover shows an unusually large photo of the fourteen performers who are listed underneath the image. There are some interesting words in pen in the top left corner where it seems that the original owner had to return the EP to the record shop in January 1956 and someone has made a note that the record was replaced free of charge.
It is impossible to be an expert in all realms of collecting, and I am honestly representing this item to the best of my knowledge and ability. If the item has a fault then I have mentioned it.
