Description

1968 Folkways reissue of 1965 original.  A great practitioner of Appalachian folk music.  Soulful, pure fold music.  Holcomb covers the waterfront.  Folk, country, blue grass, pick the rubric.  Born in 1912, Holcomb began to be known during the American folk revival of the early 1960s.  Vinyl is in superb, near mint condition.  Same for sleeve with original shrink wrap intact and tight.  8 page insert with biographical data, song lyrics, see photo.  Label is Folkways dark blue with silver writing.    Folkways Records – FA 2368
