Description

I am selling a lovely Folk/Bluegrass/Country LP by Roscoe Holcomb titled"The High Lonesome Sound," complete with an annotated descriptive booklet of notes and photos, which were produced and edited by John Cohen, and was originally recorded in April of 1964.  This LP was released on Folkways Records in 1965, catalog #FA 2368.  This is NOT a repress - it is the original 1965 pressing.  The vinyl itself is in great condition, with a few light smudges which do not affect play. The cover is also in great to excellent condition, with some very, very light signs of shelf and storage wear. The descriptive notes are clean and unmarked. Please see photos for more details.  This record has been in my family for a very long time, and it has been carefully stored, and is a hauntingly beautiful record.  Feel free to ask me any questions, and thanks for looking!
