Description

This double LP set features 8 compositions of which 7 are by Roscoe Mitchell. One by Joseph Jarman.

Solo, duet, trio and an Alto quartet set up.

Side A is a solo track. Side B has two duets. One with Anthony Braxton and the other with bassist Malachi Favors of Art Ensemble of Chicago fame.

Side C has a trio track with George Lewis on Trombone and Muhal Richard Abrams on piano.

Side D, has a quartet of Alto saxophone players. Roscoe Mitchell, Joseph Jarman, Wallace McMillan,and Henry Threadgill! There's 5 tracks which are Solo tracks by Mitchell. Mostly recorded in 1977, with the first 3 tracks from 1976.
