Description
You are bidding on a 100% GENUINE item. This is NOT one of the modern day reproduction vinyl painted discs sold to fans. This item was presented by the BPI (British Phonographic Industry) (the official UK association for the music recording industry) to celebrate the sale of £150,00 worth of the 1973 Island album For Your Pleasure. This is stated on the large plaque inside the frame which also shows that its a BPI certified sales award. This item was purchased from Sotheby's London Rock and Pop Auction 17 July 1997 and still has the Sotheby's paper sticker on the front of the frame stating the date.The item comes in a gold coloured metal frame with glass at the front and cardboard at the back. The gold coloured dosc is metal NOT vinyl !
