Item Description:

One of their best albums to be sure. So hard to find in decent shape and this one is mind blowingly crisp and clean. Housed in a superb and fully laminated gatefold cover (nipple in view) on the pink rim Island label with matrix numbers A-3/B-1. I've never seen an earlier version of this one in over 25 years of collecting.

This is a stunning copy. Perfect in every way- no corner dings, edge wear, creases or grubbyness- it looks and handles like it just walked out of the factory in 1973! Open the gatefold cover and you'll hear a lovely creaking sound...possibly the 1st time it's ever been handled by mankind! Grades as M/M. Perfect!

Postage:

If you are paying by any method other than PayPal the costs are: USA, Canada, Japan and Australia Postage 7 UK Pounds ($13). Europe 4 UK Pounds ($7). UK 2.50 UK Pounds ($5). Elsewhere please get in touch and I will let you know the cost- don't worry I ship anywhere in the world.

If you intend to pay via PayPal then, to comply with PayPal shipping regulations, the following charges apply: USA, Canada, Japan and Australia is 10 UK Pounds ($20). Europe 8 UK Pounds ($16). UK 4 UK Pounds ($8). Again, elsewhere please get in touch and I will let you know the cost.

Multiple purchases will get a combined shipping rate so the more you buy the cheaper it gets.

Payment Options:

I accept PayPal, Billpoint, UK cheques/PO's or cash (Euros, Pounds, $USA) in an envelope. Cash payments in currency other than UK Pounds are subject to a 5% handling surcharge. I will not be held responsible for cash that is stolen in the mail. Please register your letter to prevent pilfering. Absolutely NO USA checks or USA Money Orders.

PayPal:

I do not charge PayPal fees. What I do charge however is extra postage for the services that PayPal deems acceptable under rules to prevent fraudulant charge backs ie buyers who falsify non receipt of items and claim a refund under the PayPal protection policy. This means that if you wish to pay via PayPal you must adjust your shipping charges to comply. The costs are detailed in the Postage information above and I will ship by one of the following methods:

Packaging:

As a collector I'm constantly bemused and enraged by the way I  receive vinyl records in the mail that have been so poorly packaged that damage was an inevitable consequence. I've lost count of the times I've bought Mint records that have arrived with dinged corners, split seams, bends and dents caused by people too stupid or too careless to pack with thick cardboard protection. It amazes me that these idiots think that sending a record in a flimsy mailer sandwiched between a sheet of blotting paper and a some plastic bubblewrap will arrive in pristine shape. Even when I ask for lots of cardboard protection they think that putting in two sheets of blotting paper will work!

I try to make my parcels bomb proof. That means 2 sheets of stiff cardboard protection, the vinyl taken out of the sleeve and packed seperately and no idiotic 'Do Not Bend- Vinyl Record Inside' warning written on the outside of the package. If I've learn't one thing it's that Post Office employees just love to put the boot in on anything marked 'Fragile' just for kicks (sic). Things are best sent properly packaged with no distinguishing marks. I also put my return address on the parcel just in case Postman Pat gets it in his thick skull that you don't live there anymore.

Insurance:

Insurance against loss or damage is not included and must be requested seperately if required. If you pay via PayPal, however, you will get basic Postal insurance up to 30 UK Pounds ($50). For an extra 1 UK Pound ($2) this can be increased to 99 UK Pounds ($180). Should the parcle go missing or get trashed in the post I will only refund you when I have received the refund, if any, from the Post Office which could take months so please remember that when requesting coverage. Just to let you know I've sent over a thousand parcels through the post without insurance and never had a problem....but that's not to say something can't go wrong.

Gradings:

Gradings are cover/vinyl. All gradings are visual but may have been spot tested to double check. I very rarely list records that are in any way scratched- they go in the trash- and I will only list a scratched record if scarcity dictates otherwise but with full disclosure. Vinyl often display 'scuffs' which are surface marks (mostly caused by sliding in and out of the inner sleeve or careless handling) but NOT scratches and they do not have any effect on playback. If the vinyl has a scuff I will try and mention it. Even my Vg+ records are way better than most gradings on ebay- check my feedback for vindication.

Most of the records I am auctioning presently have come from a single source- a private collection amassed by a single individual. These are not flea market, garage sale or thrift shop finds and as such you will note that the condition of the majority of these albums are Near Mint to Mint. All obvious flaws are noted but for the most part they are super clean and have only been played maybe once or twice during their entire life.

Other rules & Regulations:

No time wasters, nit pickers or deadbeats- retribution will be swift and mercyless. Bidders with very low feedback new to ebay are often deadbeats so please don't be surprised if I run a check on you in advance or remove your bid. Finally, If you flake out, mess me around or leave negative feedback you can forget ever bidding on my auctions again.

Returns:

All records are sold as-is that means NO refunds or returns except in very rare circumstances. Also I am not a lending libary so don't ask for a refund (I've been burn't in the past with people buying records, taping or CDRing and then returning them and I've also had scratched records returned in place of clean albums). If you do not accept this rule then please don't bid.

Finally:

Payment must be received within 10 days- no excuses.
