Here we have a tremendous record!


It’s Roy Hall, on a 78rpm UK Brunswick original. He’s doing “Diggin’ The Boogie” and “Three Alley Cats”, two legendary Rockabilly sides recorded in September 1956.

The serial number is Brunswick 05627.

 

Take a good look at the photographs.

The disc isn’t in the finest condition, having some visible surface scuffs which fortunately don’t affect the sound very much at all.

To be fair to you, I’ve tried to photograph it in the most un-flattering light possible.

However... it plays a darn sight better than it looks, and sounds considerably better than you might expect.

The grooves aren’t worn.

It isn’t in mint museum condition, but it would sound FANTASTIC on your 78rpm Juke Box or 78rpm Dansette.

 

I’d rate it conservatively as VG although an avaricious money-grubber in a dimly lit record fair might claim that it was better.

I am just an old bloke thinning out his collection of 78rpm records before the floor collapses!

I’m selling many of these records FOR LESS THAN THEY COST ME.

I apologise for the hefty mailing costs. I pack VERY carefully, in a firm cardboard sandwich with polystyrene peanuts etc.

It's very secure but quite expensive.

If you buy more than one record off me, I will GREATLY REDUCE THE POSTAGE ACCORDINGLY, so the more you buy.. the cheaper they become!

The record in the photograph is the record you will get.

I have described the item to the best of my ability, and everything looks in splendid condition to me, but please check the photographs to decide for yourself.
