Description
Your chance to buy an outstanding copy of a first pressing (A1/B1 matrix) of Roy Harper's brilliant Folkjokeopus. This is an original Liberty blue label copy (LBS 83231, released 1969). It is in great condition with hardly any surface marks. No pops or crackles - there is silence between the songs. It would be very difficult to find a better copy of this increasingly rare album.
It has the following matrix numbers:
Side 1: LBS 83231 A//1 420 1 1
Side 2: LBS 83231 B//1 420 1 1
VINYL: The vinyl looks great and has retained its original high sheen. Visual inspection under bright light shows only minimal hairline marks. It has obviously been well cared for. Aurally, it is excellent. I didn't notice any pops or crackles and there is silence between the songs I have no hesitation in grading the vinyl as Excellent (Ex).
LABELS: The labels are near perfect with no spindle marks, damage, writing or stickers.
SLEEVE: The sleeve is the original MacNeill Press Ltd. The laminated front cover is in very good condition, with a couple of minor oxbow creases near the spine - which remains strong, square and clearly readable. The only negative is the little nibble at the top left hand corner (see picture). There is hardly any ring-wear or wear around the opening. The rear (unlaminated) cover is excellent - it's been stored in a plastic sleeve so there are no marks or discolouration. Overall the cover is excellent - but the nibble must reduce it to Very Good (VG+) condition.
INNER SLEEVE: Original polythene-lined inner.
ADDED BONUS: A photocopy of an ad for the album placed in International Times No.55 (April 25-May 8, 1969) with the words of the epic McGoohan's Blues.

POSTAGE & PACKING
The record will be carefully packaged to ensure that it survives the journey. The vinyl will be packaged separate to the sleeve. Everything will be sealed in an inner plastic cover and protected with rigid cardboard stiffeners. It will be posted requiring signature on delivery.
Postage to Europe will cost £9.95. Elsewhere in the world will cost £13.45.
