Description
My sister was lucky enough to see Roy Orbison at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco in 1982. Luckier still, she managed to get his autograph on an album, as well as a kiss (so she says) from Roy himself! It is signed in ink on the back with an inscription to my sister Susanna.
The album has not survived the years all that well, having been carted around for a long time. It has some definite stains (including some residue from a sticker on the upper right back corner), but not a huge amount of wear. In any case, it’s still a great collectable from a fabulous singer from a bygone era.
Included along with it is a yellowed newspaper clipping my sister kept from a San Francisco paper of the time describing the performance.
