Classic Records re-issue of RCA's Royal Ballet Gala Performances. LSC 6065. Classic Records 45 RPM. 180 gram first issue.
I am the original owner. I purchased this directly from Classic Records about 1995-6. I removed the outer plastic before listing as it was too frayed to be of use.
Includes outer box, gatefold jacket, 9 individually sealed records (complete set) and Classic Records Brit Box flier.
This is the very first release of the 45 RPM version and is serial numbered like the 33 1/3 RPM Deluxe Box first release. Later releases have the gold front label and have no numbering.
On the back of the gatefold jacket included with the set is a serial number sticker designating this set as from the first issue, number 704 off the press. The jacket is the same as the last 33 1/3 RPM release (after the deluxe box numbered set.) Those jackets are not numbered.
Vinyl: Sealed
Box: Edge rubs here and there, otherwise very strong clean edges, corners and face. Clean/new inside.
I grade records visually. I no longer have a vinyl rig so I do not pay them before hand. If it is from my original collection and I have played it before, I will note my recollections.
Vinyl Grading:
Mint: Sealed or without evidenced of playNM: Not mint, no surface wear other than faintest of sleeve marks. Typical of a one or two play record. Like new gloss typical of one or two plays.
EX+ - Very light surface sleeve marks at most, wear consistent with a very well cared for record. Deep gloss, typical of very light play.
EX - Some slight signs of wear, including light sleeve marks or a very few light surface hairlines. No scratches. Excellent gloss, typical of light play.
VG+ - Scattered hairlines or very light scratches, background noise possible. Excellent gloss typical of light to medium play.
Cover Grading:
See descriptionShipping: Will be shipped double boxed with cardboard inserts and padding as needed. Packed TIGHT, inside and out. The black box will also get a plastic film wrap to prevent any rubbing damage. Will combine shipping. The box and records weigh 7.5 pounds. I am estimating a total weight of 9.2 pounds
