Rush: Everything Your Listeners Ever Wanted to Hear by Rush... But You Were Afraid to Play - (Mercury MK-32).
Rare 12" vinyl promo album issued to radio stations only in 1977 prior to the release of A Farewell to Kings. It's a full length album with (11) songs from the Fly by Night, Caress of Steel, and 2112 releases.
Side I: Fly By Night, Making Memories, Bastille Day, Something for Nothing, Lakeside Park, Anthem.
Side II: 2112 Overture/Temples of Syrinx, The Twilight Zone, Best I Can, Bacchus Plateau, In the End.

"JANUARY 1977 - In order to get more air-time on radio shows, a record was compiled of post-Rutsey Rush tunes. It included an edited version of '2112', 'Something for Nothing', 'Making Memories', and 'Bacchus Plateau'. The record was given the name: 'Everything Your Listeners Wanted To Hear By Rush... But You Were Afraid To Play'. This recording was aimed at radio stations all over North America."
The album jacket is black ink on white cardboard and shows some wear: the disc outline shows through on the top and bottom of front cover - but only slightly on the back; all printing is clear; the upper corners are "dinged in" slightly. The condition was professionally rated VG++ when I originally purchased the album and it's been stored in plastic since then.
The actual vinyl disc is mint(minus) (M-): no scuffs, scratches, or marks; the record label is mint. The sound is clean and obviously wasn't played much.
The photos are good representations of the album's condition. This is a great opportunity for one of the rarest of Rush collectibles (short of the original Moon Records pressings...)
