Description

This is a near-mint / excellent (NM/EX) original 1975 US Mercury Records pressing of Fly By Night by Rush (catalog SRM-1-1023), identified by authentic Mercury 1975 label art and confirmed runout matrix SRM-1-1023-A-M2. This pressing is widely regarded as the original stateside issue, pressed in the United States on the Mercury label soon after the album’s release.

Condition
Vinyl: NM – Appears near-mint with very light play marks. Excellent sheen, clean grooves, and no visible deep scratches or scuffs. Plays back very well with low background noise.
Cover / Jacket: EX – Original sleeve displays vibrant artwork with modest edge wear and light corner rubbing consistent with a gently used vintage copy. No seam splits or tape repairs.

Pressing Significance
Fly By Night (1975) is the band’s second overall studio album and their first to feature Neil Peart on drums and as lyricist, marking a defining evolution in Rush’s sound toward progressive rock.
