Description

I am finally offering my most prized Rush collectible-the first album on the original Moon label. In reviewing the Goldmine Record Grading Guide, I'm listing this as a VG to VG+

The vinyl itself shows a surprisingly good lustre for it's age, and I grade it VG. It has been played, but not heavily, as there's very little noise that affects the music. There are light surface scratches, but they do not affect play either. The labels are clean, with only a couple of small spindle trails on side B. Also on side B label, there's a very small bit of the label paper missing from the 2 o'clock position next to the spindle hole. The spindle hole has not been rounded out. Side A lable is perfect. (Sorry about the picture quality on the labels, but I just couldn't get them perfect) The inner sleeve is a plain white paper.

The outer cover is also in very good shape and I grade it VG+. Only the upper left corner has a slight crease to the paper cover on the B side...the cardboard is fine. Some wear to the cover in a slight circular shape, but only around the outer edges of the circle. Note that this is NOT an evident ring wear, but rather the faint beginnings. It looks as though when new, it was stored next to other albums, and with hand oils and dirt, a ring was just starting. A few white spots in the red "Rush" logo. A few light scratches in the black area between Alex's and Rutsey's pictures on the back cover. They do not discolour the black ink.

I've had the opportunity to purchase other Moon records, but none have been in this good of condition. Definately one to display, if you'd chose. It's been in my collection for approx. 10 years and always stored in a plastic sleeve protector in a non-smoking home. My albums are kept in a carefully climate-controlled room, away from light. (I'm pretty particular)

Contact must be made within 3 days and payment received within 10 days of the end of auction. Please DO NOT email me for postage rates unless you've won the item. I don't have time to answer inquiries from all over the globe and I'd rather not post a generic price as every destination has a different charge. I know this angers some, but it's easiest for me.

I am not responsible for lost or damaged goods if buyer chooses not to purchase insurance.

Serious bidders only please. I reserve the right to cancel bids from users with high negative feedback.

All sales are final unless the item was not as described.
Shipping and handling charges will be determined upon auction completion. I accept Paypal and US Postal Money Orders. Please email me with any questions. Good luck!.
