Description
This auction is for a rare import audiophile pressing of Rush’s 1980 masterpiece “Permanent Waves”. The catalog number is Mercury 9111 065. The hype sticker on the resealable outer sleeve reads “Polygram Records Imported Audiophile Series. Impeccable European pressing by Philips in Amsterdam, Holland”. I’d rate the vinyl as NM- as it’s extremely glossy with no scuffs or marks of any kind. This is from my personal collection and I can honestly say that it’s only been played once since I’ve owned it, and it looks as though the previous owner played it very little…if ever at all. The cover is a strong VG+ as there is some VERY slight corner wear and light marks that can be seen in the photos. The original plain white inner sleeve and lyric insert are NM as well and the LP is in a VRP rice paper sleeve. It will be shipped in the original factory resealable outer sleeve (the "factory sealed" sticker is still intact as well, however it has been played at least once to my knowledge as I stated before).
