MERCURY RECORDS 70'S "SKYLINE" LABEL RCA MUSIC SERVICE PRESSING (R132226A/B ON DEADWAX)
Record: VG+ (Very faint scuffs from paper sleeve and also very faint scratches on playing surface that does not affect play. Very clean and good sound.) Cover: VG+ (No split seams except in a couple of places on the plain white paper sleeve. Some lightly dulled corners and light ring wear on cover - visible only in certain places)
Rush's classic 1974 self titled album, released by RCA Music Service. While this IS a 70's pressing with the "Skyline" Mercury Records label and does say mastered by Gilbert Kong at Masterdisck on the liner notes on the back of the cover, I do not know for sure if this copy pressed by RCA Music Service utilized the same master. Despite that, the sound quality is outstanding and beats any CD release I've heard. This has been in my collection for many years and I now must let it go.
